It’s happened! They have finally arrived! H1N1 vaccines are now available to all students, staff, and the faculty of Modesto Junior College.
As of Tuesday, November 24 an official announcement was released stating that the coveted H1N1, more commonly referred to as the “swine flu vaccine,” is now being offered free of charge. Pirates’ Log writers recently reported the shot was still in extremely low supply all over the county. Up until now, only the nasal mist was offered on campus for prevention of the virus. But our months of patiently waiting have finally come to an end.
H1N1 clinics will be on the following dates:
Wednesday December 2: 9:30am-3:30pm in the West Campus Mary Stuart Rogers Bldg.
Friday December 4: 9am-12pm in the East Campus Student Center
Monday December 7: 1:30pm-4:30pm in the East Campus Student Center
Thursday December 10: 10:30am-6:30pm in the East Campus Student Center and 11am-2pm in the West Campus Mary Stuart Rogers Bldg.
The vaccine is available in the Health Services Clinic on East & West Campus on a walk-in basis. Get yourself vaccinated while supplies last.
