What do you do if someone grabs you from behind at night while walking to your car in the parking lot?
Don't have the answer?
Well then you should probably think about signing up for the new self-defense class here at Modesto Junior College.
Beginning on Tuesday, March 20, 2007, former karate champion Ken Polite will be instructing one of two self-defense classes at the Modesto Junior College East Campus.
Polite, a very qualified person for the job, carries a very impressive resume that will make students feel more at ease about learning how to defend themselves.
The 8th degree black belt and former Air Force troop will lead the 1 hour and 15 minute class that focuses mainly on defending yourself from an attacker and basic fighting skills.
The class will also touch on timing, motor skills, and building confidence in students while still managing to mix in some aerobic ideas into it.
Now just because you're a guy don't think that you're too "macho" for this class.
Even though the classes consist of mostly females, Polite does have male students that attend his classes.
So it does not matter who you are, black or white, male or female, one hour and 15 minutes of your time on a Monday and Thursday is a very small price to pay for
ensuring your own safety.
If you want a class that you will enjoy and have fun in while learning how to be less vulnerable to attackers, then enroll in this self-defense class today.
