Marketing programs, car dealership team up for event

Pictures were taken with the new 2011 Chevrolet Camero.

On April 6, 2011, MJC marketing department teamed up with American Chevrolet to host a daylong event. The event went from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Students and faculty were encouraged to participate in events and rally games.

The marketing department created its own Facebook page and tweeted throughout the day. Members of the marketing class posted trivia's and posted winners of contests.

During the last raffle, the grand prize winner, Gerald Barker, won an iPad.

Marketing students took pictures of people in the new 2011 Chevrolet Camaro uploaded it on their Facebook page, under MJC Marketing presents "An American Experience"..Those who got their photos taken are encouraged to click on the like button their Facebook page and tag themselves in the photos.

American Chevrolet displayed their entire new line-up of 2011 vehicles such as: Volt, Camaro, Equinox, Traverse, Malibu, Impala, Avalanche and Silverado.
